Cowshed
History
The naturally-based bath and body products were originally formulated for the Cowshed Spa at Babington House. Handmade with the finest ingredients, the first products were used during treatments at the spa and in the House’s rooms for guests to enjoy.
The range takes its name from the location of the spa, in what was once a working Cowshed at Babington House.
Inspiration came close to home: an infusion of herbs hand-picked from Babington House’s Victorian walled garden, blended with essential oils sourced from around the world, giving each formula Cowshed’s delicate yet distinctive signature fragrance.
Products, Shops & Spas
Cowshed now has over 40 products in the range and is stocked in over 100 stores around the world. There is a dedicated Cowshed shop in Chiswick, London which offers the full range of products. This is in addition to our three stand-alone London spas – Cowshed Clarendon Cross, which also features a cafe serving home cooked food and shop; Cowshed Carnaby, a central London spa and shop; and Cowshed Shoreditch, which opened in April 2010.
In addition to the London sites and Babington House, there are further spas at Soho House New York, Shoreditch House (East London), The Scotsman Hotel (Edinburgh), The Virgin Clubhouse at Heathrow and the St. Moritz Hotel (Cornwall).
