Cowshed at Babington House

This rural retreat is the home of Cowshed, the exclusive spa and beauty brand of the British-born Soho House Group. Cowshed first developed its botanical formulations for the original Cowshed spa and guest rooms at Babington House in 1998.

Here, you’ll find a place to escape, unwind and recuperate at the Cowshed Spa, which is separated into two areas; Cowshed Active and Cowshed Relax.

With the picturesque and peaceful Victorian Walled Garden at Babington House, Cowshed Relax is the place to indulge and rejuvenate, with one of Cowshed’s signature mud soaks, massages or facials, coupled with a cleansing Ginger Tea. At Cowshed Relax you’ll also find three bedrooms with private treatment facilities, mezzanine level beds and outdoor space with soaking tubs made for two.

Found behind the Main House, Cowshed Active is the place to exercise and regenerate. It is home to swimming pools, steam, sauna and aroma rooms, as well as a fitness studio and gym with the latest Technogym kit.

The Cowshed spa philosophy centres on the therapeutic nature of botanical essential oils. Its range of stylish, honest and natural products for bath, body and home are all made in England, using a variety of organic ingredients, wildcrafted plant extracts and pure essential oil of the highest quality.
